Spain Fiam Valencia Exhibition -FIAM 2008     2008-05-22 17:44:11

Spain Fiam Valencia Exhibition – FIAM 2008

Venue: Feria Valencia,Valencia Spain

Place: Valencia, Spain

Date:2008.9.23-2008.9.27

The International Lighting Fair, FIAM, is set to take place from 23rd to 27th September at Feria Valencia. This year will mark the start of a new biennial frequency for the Fair, which will run in even-numbered years only.

FIAM 2008 will also bring changes to the Fair itself. First held in 1965, FIAM is Spain´s only International decorative Lighting Fair and in its new guise will reflect how it has adapted to the needs of a sector that is in the throes of a process of change.

Its 42-year history mean that FIAM can take on the challenge of a new phase with enthusiasm, creating new features that will firmly establish it as a fair that is different.  This is a new project that seeks to satisfy the current and future demands and expectations of the lighting industry. The exhibition is unarguably a national and an international business platform where professionals can see just how the world of lighting is developing.

FIAM OFFERS MORE
The International Lighting Fair is set to be a showcase where the quality of the products from Spain and abroad is one of the features that make it different.

The range of products on display will be bigger than ever, with the top manufacturers of classic, modern, contemporary, technical and garden lighting comprising an exhibition segmented by styles and types of product.

AN OBJECTIVE: CREATING FIAM 2008
September 2008 will see a new project come into being, a project that has been developed with three aims in mind: to create the very best setting for showing products that is also a sales platform, to create a point of contact for professionals to gain information on and learn about the industry, and to deliver added value as a point of difference.

INDUSTRY SUPPORT
The International Lighting Fair develops its action plans in line with the industry´s needs. The collaboration that exists between the industry and the Fair has led FEDAI-DEC to support and acknowledge the International Lighting Fair as the only international event dedicated to decorative lighting.

Feria Valencia has struck a deal with the various trade associations and/or federations whereby these organisations will subsidise part of the space cost for exhibitors that are members of any of the Federations and/or Associations that represent the sectors included at HABITAT VALENCIA. This initiative should translate into a substantial increase in the product offer on show

HABITAT VALENCIA, a powerhouse
The next International Lighting Fair, FIAM, will be taking place from 23rd to 27th September alongside the International Furniture Fair of Valencia, FIM, the International Decorating and Accessories Fair, DE>CO, Tetilhogar and the International Modern and Contemporary Art Fair, FIART VALENCIA.  All come under the aegis of the umbrella title HABITAT VALENCIA.

HABITAT VALENCIA is set to be the best showcase in Europe, with an integrated product offer that covers furniture, decorating, accessories, lighting, home textiles and modern and contemporary art. All together, under the shared title of HABITAT VALENCIA, they constitute the most comprehensive show, with an integrated perception of the home.

FIAM is seeking to establish itself as a firm springboard for trends and new vogues.  All who visit will see the latest products and trends as FIAM and the other exhibitions create the only international home products showcase in Spain.
